Ultrasound Pictures

So, in case you don't remember, this ultrasound wasn't really supposed to happen. At the last ultrasound the baby's brain couldn't be measured properly because it was under my belly button and that was causing a shadow. Lucky for us, we had to go back for this one!

The ultrasound tech was a student this time, so I don't think we got as good of pictures as we probably could have, but she was really nice and spent a lot of time with us just letting us look. She technically only needed to measure one thing and then we could have been on our way, but she didn't. She went over all the baby's little parts with us (minus the one part we don't want to know about). The baby was moving around a TON during this one, so she was kind of chasing it all over.

At one point our little baby decided to use his/her cute little arm and hand to punch the ultrasound wand (is that what it's called) that was on my belly. Even the tech felt the wand move.

During the ultrasound the baby had one leg bent and one leg stretched out.

Probably the coolest part of the whole thing was when the tech had the wand on my belly so that we could see most of the baby and we saw him/her stretch! It was really obvious, and really cute. The baby did cooperate and moved out of the breech position and is now head down with its butt closer to my right side, so they could measure what they needed to this time around.

We have our next regular doctor's appointment on Friday. Our doctor said this will probably be my last monthly appointment and after this we will be going every two weeks. July 23rd is definitely creeping up on us.
