The weather was initially hot and then turned rainy. One of the biggest disappointments of the trip was that the Toy Story Mania! ride was closed for repair when the park opened and Fast Passes were gone shortly thereafter. The wait for the ride reached over 2 hours and we decided no amount of Toy Story coolness was worth trying to entertain Henry in a line for that kind of time.
We did see The Voyage of the Little Mermaid, which all of us really enjoyed. Side note: Once we came back home, Henry requested to watch "Tiny Mermaid" on DVD. We also did the Backlot Tour simply because it was a tram ride and it was raining by this point. It was OK. Henry was tired and basically just laid on my lap.
We headed over to Hollywood and Vine for our scheduled character lunch.
Agent Oso.
Handy Manny. Henry was SO excited to see him. He could barely eat because he was watching all the other kids get their turns with him.
Jake. Henry looks like a dork in this picture. We had already met Jake earlier that morning, so thank goodness I have backup pictures.
There was a also a character from Little Einstein's, but Henry never watches that so we didn't know who she was (an Asian-looking gal). We didn't wait around for her to come over.
We made sure to stop by Pixar Avenue to see all the Toy Story-themed stuff.
The most exciting things we did at Hollywood Studios was to meet Buzz and Woody! We waited a good 40 minutes in line (the longest we waited for anything the entire trip), but it was worth it.
They had cute little photo-ops set up while you snaked your way through the queue.

I thought the little 'Andy's Bed' set-up they had was great. It was really nice that you were in this little room with the characters and a photographer and nobody else. Buzz and Woody took time with Henry and we didn't feel rushed at all.
Henry was so excited to meet his two favorite people. This meeting alone made the trip and expense worth it. By the way, anyone else notice that Woody has a major 'front butt'??
After our time at Hollywood Studios, we headed over to spend the last part of the day at Epcot. We spent very little time there. In fact, we only did one thing...
There really wasn't much else that we thought Henry would be excited to do. This was Dustin's first trip to Disney World, so I wanted to go so that he could at least see the park, but we ended up being there for only about 2 hours.
After we left, we hopped on the monorail and rode it around so that Henry could experience it. He did have a great time - it was like a high-speed bus :)
