Play! 3.8.12

There's a new place in East Lansing for kids called (appropriately) Play. It's an eco-friendly play room for kids. They have lots of wooden toys, a pretend vegetable garden, houses, mailboxes, a stage, slide, soft stacking blocks, reading nook with a tee-pee, tables and chairs for the kids, and even a soft toy area for infants. They use all-natural cleaning products and you're even allowed to bring in your own food, snacks and drinks. I took Henry for the first time last week...

 

 

They had all things domestic; Henry was in heaven.

 

He loved the cash register that went with the farmer's market.

He was also quite font of the tea party stuff.

 

I am in love with this wood flooring. It looks very rustic and the planks are very wide.

 

This Melissa and Doug house with locks and doorbells was his favorite toy. Even while he was playing with other things he would make sure this was in sight.

 

Paige had a good time, too! She did not like tummy time (she never does), but she does love looking at herself so this was tolerable. It helps when you have a hand snack.

 

Strong girl!
