Meeting Jack Hanna!

So before all the wedding ring drama, we had a great day at the zoo. My dad and sister met me and Henry at the zoo for a day of animal fun.

Here are some highlights of our trip:

 

This was my first time getting to see the Polar Bears from the underwater deck.

 

This picture reminds me of "Weekend With Bernie's" because my Dad is propping up a sleeping Henry for the picture. We happened to be near Jack Hanna's 'Outpost' while 10TV was getting ready to film a segment on him. I got out my camera to get a shot of him for the ol' blog. He was busy doing stuff to get ready, so I was content just to get a shot of him in action. He glanced over and saw me taking a pic and waved me over to him. He was the nicest guy. He was really busy getting ready to go on the air and at the same time he was on his cell phone trying to get a hold of his daughter for the segment, but he took time to take a picture with us. Totally unnecessary, but totally neat!

We got up close and personal with a couple flamingos.

 Henry used his time-out (for running away from his mom and grandpa) to admire some shrubbery.

We saw the 'Frenemies' show.

It was a great time at the Zoo!
